Red Ribbon Week 2026: Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free.
October 23–31, 2026
Continental Societies, Inc.® Southeastern Howard Laurel Chapter (SEHL) is proud to participate in National Red Ribbon Week, a nationwide campaign promoting drug prevention, healthy choices, and substance-free living.
This year’s theme, “Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free.”, reminds children and families that everyday choices can make a lasting difference.
As part of our commitment to youth health and well-being, SEHL will engage students at our partner middle schools throughout Red Ribbon Week:
Murray Hill Middle School
Patuxent Valley Middle School
Thomas Viaduct Middle School
During these school visits, students will be encouraged to make healthy decisions, understand the importance of staying drug-free, and recognize their ability to positively influence their peers and communities.
Families Can Make a Difference at Home, Too!
Parents, caregivers, and families are encouraged to continue the conversation at home. Talk with your children about the importance of making healthy choices, resisting peer pressure, and seeking support from trusted adults. Families can also participate by sharing the Red Ribbon Week message with their own networks and encouraging children to be positive role models.
Together, we can help empower young people to make informed decisions and build healthy, drug-free futures.
Make a Difference. Be a Hero. Stay Drug Free.
